WIndows 10 Spring Creators Update broke the battery indicator on your laptop? Here's how you can re-enable the time left indicator on your Windows 10 PC.

1. Go to the Registry Editor

3. Delete EnergyEstimationEnabled & UserBatteryDischargeEstimator from the right pane

Since the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update, Microsoft disabled the ability to see the amount of battery life time remaining on a Windows 10 laptop. After some simple edits in the Registry Editor, there is a way to re-enable the time left indicator on your Windows 10 PC.
Here's what you need to do.

1. Go to the search bar and type in Registry Editor and select Run as administrator
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPower

From here, you will need to make a few changes to the Registry on your Windows 10 PC. If you are not comfortable with making these changes, don't read any further. These registry edits will enable battery percentage, battery life remaining, and time remaining to charge your Windows 10 PC, but messing with the registry could cause serious problems for your computer if you're not careful.

Here are the steps you need to follow in Registry Editor:

1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPower
2. Delete EnergyEstimationEnabled & UserBatteryDischargeEstimator from the right pane
3. Right-click and Add a New DWORD (32-bit), and name it EnergyEstimationDisabled

Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Trying to auto-discover APC UPS devices but you need a user ID and password to access the UPS. Is it possible to have the PRTG UPS template use an ID and password to access the devices. By default I can get a ping sensor but nothing else. version 8.1.2.1810

Our template is strictly based on custom OIDs. The only instance a user name / password can be appropriately used is in the event the sensor is added as SNMP v3 - these entries can be defined under the device.

The APC UPS only requires a username and password for its integrated web server (default apc/apc). For SNMP access (default set to v1) you only need the community string of the UPS (default public) these settings can be set at device or group level on your PRTG server.

I have enabled both SNMP V1 and V3 on the card but when running the SNMP Tester I keep getting
